Reviving a dead e-scooter: BMS sleep, blown fuse, or a cell group
Difficultyhard
E-scooters that "will not charge or turn on" after sitting: usually the BMS went to sleep when a cell dropped below its cutoff. Open the deck, measure pack voltage at the BMS output. Zero volts with cells reading fine = BMS asleep; some wake up when you plug the charger in for 30 seconds with the pack connected, some need a jumper on the charge port. Measure each group: all within 0.1V and above 3.0V = pack is fine, it is the BMS or the fuse (there is almost always a blade fuse near the controller). One group at 2.0V with the rest at 3.8V = bad group; replace it or the pack.
Never bypass a BMS to "fix" it. That is how the fire videos get made.

Yep, same here. The second time is always faster.
