Mobile bases for every big tool: the shop that changes shape
Difficultyeasy
Cost$50 per tool
If the shop shares space with a car, everything heavy rolls. Options: universal steel mobile bases ($50 to $80, fine for a contractor saw or bandsaw), shop-built 2x4 bases with two fixed and two swivel locking casters, or workbench-height carts that let you line tools up as one surface. Casters: 3" minimum, polyurethane wheels (rubber flat-spots), and buy the ones with the foot-operated total lock.
Mark the parking spot of each tool on the floor with tape so the layout resets in two minutes.

The embedded video is clearer than the official service manual, which is a little embarrassing for the manufacturer.
This is the kind of post that makes this place worth it.
Small addition: wear eye protection for the part where you pry it. Learned that one the hard way.
Yep, same here. The second time is always faster.

Glad it helped.
