✅ Platinum silicone stayed gooey against my resin-printed master. Ruined?

Poured Mold Star 30 over an SLA print. Cured everywhere except a sticky skin against the print. Can I save the mold?

Classic cure inhibition. Uncured resin in the print poisons platinum silicone. Next time: post-cure the print fully under UV, wash it twice in IPA, then seal with 2 to 3 coats of acrylic clear spray and wait 24 hours. For this mold: scrub the sticky layer with IPA and a toothbrush; sometimes the layer underneath is fine. If detail is lost, recast with the master prepped properly. Or use a tin-cure silicone; it does not care.

Also happens with fresh FDM prints and with sulfur clay. Always do a test blob first.
