Jack stands: which ones are actually safe after the Harbor Freight recall?

I still see people using the recalled ones. What are folks running now, and does anyone use the pin-type stands instead of ratchet?

Pin-type (ESCO, or the big-name shop brands) for anything I am going under. Ratchet ones for holding a corner while I swap a wheel. And a wheel under the rocker no matter what.

Whatever you buy, load test them on the ground first: jack the car, set the stand, lower onto it, shove the car hard. If anything shifts, do not go under.
